What is healthy living?

To most people, "healthy living" entails a person's physical and mental health being in balance or working well together. Physical and mental health are often intertwined, and every change (good or poor) in one has a direct impact on the other. As a result, some of the advice will contain suggestions for "healthy living" on an emotional and mental level.


This article is intended to provide readers with suggestions on how they might enhance or supplement acts in their lives in order to live a healthy lifestyle; it is not intended to be all-inclusive, but it will include significant components that are regarded to be parts of a healthy lifestyle. In addition to suggestions for what people should do to live a healthy lifestyle, the article will include some tips for how to live a healthy lifestyle avoiding acts that contribute to unhealthy living (the don’t).
